Caroline Grace Prather ~ Newborn: Lubbock, TX

Caroline Grace is the precious addition to the Prather family. Parents, Kylie and Chris, have become great friends of mine while I lived in Lubbock and I could not be happier for them. I love when babies smile (no matter the reason;) for my camera!

I was able to stay with them while visiting and Kylie was able to show me a thing or two. It's crazy I'll be experiencing this amazing miracle soon! So Kylie and Chris, thank you for the lessons!

Caroline is beautiful and I can't wait to see her grow up:) Enjoy!

 

Cody S is graduating ~ Seniors

I lost some serious lbs on this shoot thanks to Cody making me laugh the whole time! Cody is graduating from Texas Tech University in May and has an internship lined up with Disney shortly after. I know, so awesome!:) Cody is seriously one of the funniest people and he was so great in front of the camera. Poor guy did have to suffer through my lack of directional skills to one of our locations. It was really a scam Cody..just to hang out more. I'm actually really good with directions;) Just ask Cade!

Like I said we had a blast getting creative in the 50mph wind and dirt brown sky of Lubbock, TX. ha I think we pulled it off;) Here are my favorites!!

Taylor is graduating ~ Seniors

Taylor is graduating! Just in the short time I got to meet with her, I quickly found out what an amazing athlete she is. She is involved in so many sports and hopes to continue them at Texas Tech University in the fall. 

She was a trooper for our session as it felt like 100 degrees outside including some crazy winds! Taylor, you are so pretty and talented! Congratulations on your graduation and keep me posted on future plans!!;)

 

Melanie and Houston ~ I Do

Melanie and Houston were married in Amarillo, TX. They are such a sweet couple with adorable families and I felt so blessed to have the opportunity to shoot their wedding day. The church had big stain glass windows that let in amazing light for the day:) Another bonus was all of the great details! Once again, great couple and great day!! Here are my favorites!

Hilary and Heath Part II

Heath contacted me this year as a surprise for his wife, Hilary, and I was thrilled because (1) I got to shoot these two again and (2), because I love surprises! Moose and Bandit made the trip again as well and I love when people love their dogs as much as I love mine:) Here are my favorites!

Lauren and Jacob ~ Engagements

One: I love my job! Two: Lauren and Jacob are amazing! Lauren and Jacob are so sweet with one another and so easy to work with. Lauren is in her first year of law school at Texas Tech and Jacob is in his first year of med school at Tech as well. Doesn't that make you tired just reading that!? So aside from school, they are planning their wedding in Costa Rica next summer. And they are taking me with them! YAY I can't wait to shoot this beautiful couple again in such a beautiful place! Here are my favs!

Kate and Branson ~ Engagements

Kate and Branson are just one of those couples I became instant friends with. They are getting married in Noveember and I can't wait! They are an adorable couple and I had a great time getting to know them and finding good spots for their engagement session. I loved how their pictures turned out:)  Take a look ~

Ashley and Cody ~ I Do

Ashley and Cody were married at Villa Antonia in Austin, TX in July. This venue is gorgeous! If you live in Austin, I highly recommend you check it out. Ashley and Cody are truly a beautiful couple and their loving and sweet families were an added bonus! Here are my favorites from their big day!

Kathryn and Kellen ~ I Do

YAY for posting these! I love Kathryn and Kellen and their wedding was perfect. They were married at the Clark gardens in Weatherford, TX. This was a gorgeous venue! Great couple, great location, and great food made for an amazing evening! These were my favorites ~

Erin and Jason ~ I Do

Man Oh Man, I've been wanting to post this wedding! Erin and Jason were married at the most beautiful church, St. Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth, Texas. Their amazing reception followed at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. I loved all the colors Erin picked out for the wedding and their were plenty of details:) Love! Erin and Jason are crazy in love with each other and in every photo, you can tell they had so much fun on their big day. I hope you enjoy!

After the wedding was over, we met up at one of the gardens and I got some alone time with the Bride and Groom:) A great idea for couples who have afternoon weddings!

Brandi and Jeff ~ Engagements {Lubbock Photographer}

Brandi and jeff are delightful! We met up a few weeks ago at River Legacy Park in Arlington, TX and it set up a beautiful background for us. Greenery galore! Jeff has this dry sense of humor that I love that made Brandi laugh easily though out the session. 

As we were talking, I asked them when their wedding date was and Brandi said I was already booked that day and how she was going to take me to Antigua with her. How great life is, that particular date that was filled had been rescheduled for another day. So I am pleased to announce I have my first destination wedding this May in Antigua! So excited! I can't wait and to know I'm going to get to go with these two makes me even more excited:) Here are my favorites.

Casey and Matt ~ Engagements {Lubbock Photographer}

Casey and Matt were such a joy to be around! I was kind of nervous meeting up with them as this was my first time to shoot photographers. That quickly went away after I met them as they are so sweet and started joking with me within minutes! Some of my new favorites are from this session so I've been dying to post them. 

You will get to see this beautiful couple again as I am shooting their wedding this July. They are getting married at Perini Ranch in Buffalo Gap, TX. I've been there once and its a beautiful set up with outdoors and hanging lights:) I can't wait. Okay the pictures already! Be sure to check them out here:)

Montandon Family {Lubbock Photographer}

This was such a fun session for me. Baby Ezra was adorable and so joyful! He did not fuss once, instead he smiled and giggled the whole time. He is officially 7 months old:) Parents, Lesley and Chad were great and it was such a pleasure getting to shoot your family. Enjoy:)

Christie and Koby ~ Engagements {Lubbock Photographer}

Some sessions are just set up perfectly. This was one of those sessions! The couple, the location, and the weather was awesome. We went to TG Trees Nursery and Garden which is a beautiful greenhouse and store in Lubbock. 

In college, Christie and I were in the same social club at ACU. It's great to be able to catch up with her and to take pictures of her and future hubby, Koby. I am excited to also shoot their wedding in Albany, TX this July! YAY
