Couples

Kelsey and Alex ~ Engagements: Dallas, TX

This session was great! Kelsey really wanted a good sunrise photo which I've never done before. That particular morning was one of the foggiest mornings ever which ended up being a bit challenging but overall, a fun change for me. We didn't get our sunrise, but we agreed the fog left a romantic and mysterious feel for the pictures:) Check it out!

Amy and Ryan ~ Engagements: Tyler, TX

These two are so dear to my heart! I've known Amy and Ryan for years and we have all seen each other grow up! We all went to the same church camp year after year until we got too old:( Amy is one of the most sincere people I know and cares about her relationships. She can literally make me laugh at anything! (laughing thinking about it). And I'm so happy she is going to marry Ryan! God prepared the right timing for them to become something more than just friends and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to document their love and be in the wedding! Can't wait guys! Love you both so so much!!

So amazing!!

Me and Amy!

Ryan and Sylvia ~ Engagements : Abilene, TX

Ryan and Sylvia are too sweet for words and are officially added to my club of awesome clients! They just ignored the camera and let me capture their everyday interaction which I love! They also brought some fun props which always adds to a session. Since some of their relationship last year had to be long distance, they brought these retro phones to shoot with:) So cute! We met up in Abilene and managed to find some greenery despite the lack of rain these days. Hope you enjoy these two as much as I did!

Bene and Kevin ~ Engagements : McKinney, TX

Bene and Kevin are amazing clients! There is nothing better than taking photos of people who are so comfortably in love! McKinney was the perfect backdrop for the photos and we were blessed with great romantic lighting to top it all off:)

The couple is getting married next July and I seriously can't wait for the wedding!

Chris and Kirsten ~ Engagements : Abilene, TX

Chris and Kirsten are so fun to be around. She is bubbly and friendly and Chris knows just how to make her laugh! I always appreciate a guy that comes to the session and can have fun with it! Kirsten did such a good job with bringing props and I loved her use of color!

We met up in good ole Abilene and the weather was perfect for our session! Thanks again for such a fun afternoon:) Can't wait for this wedding in November!

Wade and Kaci ~ Engagements : Lamesa, TX

My first shoot in Lamesa,TX was a success due to this wonderful couple! Lamesa is a special place as this is where they first met. We actually were able to go to the exact location where they first laid eyes on each other, which happened it be this awesome old cotton gin. Needless to say I had lots of fun shooting there. We finished up the session at her grandparent's farm where there were beautiful skies, tractors, and open fields. I love these kinds of backgrounds when I get the chance to shoot them:)

They are getting married in October and I can't wait for this wedding! Hope you enjoy your photos! This first picture is of them standing in front of the cotton gin where they met. Love it!

Emily and Josh ~ Couples: Rosemary Beach, Florida

I went to Florida to shoot an awesome beach wedding that you will see later this week, but while I was there I got to hang out with my great friend Emily! Emily and I went to the same church camp every summer for 8 or 9 years. She is one of like 5 people who can make me laugh extremely hard! I love love love her and I was so excited to get to hang out with her hubby Josh! I was thrilled to get to have a session with them while I was in town and loved how they turned out:) Check it out!

Oh ya did I forget to mention how good looking these two are!!

While I was there, Ryan her brother happened to be in town and it was such a bonus to see him! He is a professional songwriter in Nashville, TN and he is oh so good! You probably have been singing in the car to one of his songs and didn't even know it! So proud of you!! We took a few and here they are making me laugh of course! Can you guess who has been in the sun the least:(

Kathy and Dennis ~ Couples

Kathy and Dennis's daughter, Kathryn, contacted me about doing a session for her parents as a gift. It was a great gift as they haven't had professional pictures taken for about 35 years. They are so in love and such a treat to talk with and shoot. We walked around downtown Fort Worth and I found some new spots:) Thank you again and hope you have an amazing and peaceful vacation:)

Dea Dea and Scott ~ Engagements

What an amazing couple!!! I shot Dea Dea's son's wedding in 2009 and now she is getting ready to have one of her own:) Scott is awesome and really appreciates the stop and go process of taking pictures in different locations;) We had awesome light to work with and they are seriously naturals in front of the camera and needed minimal direction! Thank you for making it so easy on me:)

Congratulations and I wish you many blessings for your future life together:)

Marcus and Nicole ~ Engagements

These two are amazing to work with! They took no time to warm up and I think the camera loved them as much as I did. Marcus and Nicole are getting marred in June in Austin, TX. I'm so looking forward to their wedding and for more shoot time:)

I found out Marcus actually served two tours in Iraq with my brother-in-law Jason! Such a small world! Both of you are so sweet and thank you for putting up with my silliness! I hope you enjoy your pictures!!

Kaylie and JR ~ Engagements

I love these two. They have been guests at so many of the weddings I have shot and the last two times when the wedding was over, they have brought me a piece of cake. Nothing tastes better at the end of the night:)

I met up with sweet Kaylie and JR on a windy morning in Dallas a couple of weeks ago. I love the drama the wind added to the photos.  We did get to hide behind buildings and trees at times to get a break:) They were great to work with and I loved all the goodies they brought with them for the session. My favorite had to be Charlie, their cute puppy. I love people who love their dogs as much as I do!

These two are getting married in May and I'm so happy for them! Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your pictures!

Above: Loveliness!

Below: We finished our session up at the Dallas Arboretum.

Austin and Anita ~ Engagements

I had such a good time with Austin and Anita! I got to catch up with Austin who I haven't seen for probably ten years! We used to sing our little hearts out together on the church praise team. I found out he is still singing on the praise team and it's a good thing..such a great voice! I was so happy to meet his fiance, Anita, who is a delight! PS. She has amazing red hair! I laughed the whole session and you will see they had some laughs as well:) Congratulations you two and happy planning until the big day in May:)! Not too far away:)

Below: These last ones make me oh so happy!

Sarah and Alex ~ Engagements

I just realized the last blog post was Valentine's Day..WHOA! I've got lots in store for this month on the blog so check back regularly:) I recently updated my calendar on the website so if you have scheduled a session with me, please check and make sure you are on there.

Now for Sarah and Alex! Such an adorable and fun couple to shoot. We met up in Buffalo Gap, TX and we found colorful shops and hidden locations for our session. The lighting was amazing throughout the whole session so we thank you sun. Here were some of my favorites! Show some love and drop a comment for Sarah and Alex ~

Marion and Fab ~ Engagements

My camera had some love for Marion and Fab for their E-session a couple of weeks ago. Marion has been such a good friend of mine for years now and I was so happy when he asked me to take their pictures! I love Fab who I also like to call Fabuloso! We found some awesome spots around Dallas and had a few adventures along the way:)

Ya'll look amazing and I'm so blessed to have your friendship! Can't wait for the wedding!!

Jaclyn and Chris ~ Engagments

I had so much fun with Jaclyn and Chris on their E-session:) They were my first session of the new year and if this was any indication of how 2011 will go, I am thrilled. Abilene was our location as Jaclyn is finishing her last semester at Abilene Christian University. Chris, however travels all over the place as he plays professional baseball for the LA Dodgers. After hearing this and that Jaclyn plays tennis for ACU, I was of course impressed and wanted to contribute, but I've heard cheerleading is not an actual sport:(

Check them out. They are adorable! Can't wait till December!
